Don't Wait For A Crisis

Gustafson credits BuildTools as the reason Stonewood was able to scale up so significantly without putting undue strain on any of his team members. “I think a lot of builders start looking for a way to manage everything when they’ve sold a bunch of projects, more than they think they can handle, when they’re in crisis mode, but implementation is an ongoing process.”

BuildTools’ structure was there to support growth when Stonewood needed it. It enabled the company to grow from $5 million worth of projects to $25 million without requiring any additional hires. Gustafson attributes Stonewood’s ongoing success to their decision to adopt BuildTools. “BuildTools has been the core of that growth.”
